Elders Ministry

The Elders Ministry is a home for the seasoned members of our church family, and a place where a lifetime of walking with God is treated as the treasure it is. Meetings are held at various times through the year, arranged so that they suit those taking part.

Time together centres on the Word, on prayer, and on genuine fellowship. There is space to study Scripture unhurriedly, to share what God has done across many years, and to pray for the church, for families, and for one another.

Much of what this ministry gives to Freedom Hall happens quietly. Our elders pray faithfully for the congregation, offer counsel drawn from long experience, and encourage younger believers who are only beginning the journey. It is one of the ways wisdom passes from one generation to the next rather than being lost.

The ministry also keeps watch over its own. Where a member is unwell, housebound or going through a difficult season, the group makes sure they are visited, prayed for and not forgotten. If you would like to join, or you know someone who would value a visit, please get in touch with Elder Eyitayo.
